i don't know, the new nfs games seem like a disappointment, why are you so obsessed with this one (other than the fact your working on it)
I would hardly class 2 post's obsessed, but it's great to work on a car game since I love car games. People post the progress on whatever they are working on on NGs. Just thought i'd do the same.

The new one is a different twist, but multiplayer is still a big part of the game. They are just trying to get you involved in the story. The problem is they shown a large part of quicktime events in the trailer for the HD version, giving the impression that the majority of the game will be quicktime events, when it's like 93% of it is still pure driving.
